Donavia Aircrafts
Being an aircraft operator, JSC Donavia operates both its own air fleet and leased aircrafts.
Donavia air fleet comprises passenger aircrafts by Russian and foreign manufacturers:
TU-154М, Boeing-737-500, Boeing-737-400.
The Sheremetyevo branch operates Ilyushin-86 airplanes.
Donavia is constantly renovating its air fleet, and purchasing aircrafts from Russian and foreign manufacturers.
The company plans to buy new aircrafts, and is included as customer in the new Russian airplanes production schedules.
Donavia operates medium-range and close-range airplanes, according to the needs of its route network.
All the passenger aircrafts are equipped with:
- cabins designed for business and economy class servicing;
- cargo bays.
Donavia aircrafts have the necessary equipment for international flight servicing, including:
- Global positioning systems (TNL-2000, KLN-90В);
- Air collision avoidance systems (TCAS-II);
- Stationary oxygen systems for passengers and the cabin crew;
- Systems of vertical separation with 300 meters interval (Electronic Barometric Altimeters VBE-SVS with Electronic Communication and Control Units);
- Terrain Awareness and Warning Systems (TAWS);
- VHF radios replaced with more advanced extended-range ones.
These measures allow the company to operate flights across the globe, satisfying international standards and regulations.
